The Homemade Family Kitchen Kids in the Kitchen Challenge

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

These Official Rules govern the September 2026 The Homemade Family Kitchen Kids in the Kitchen Challenge (“Sweepstakes”).

By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding where permitted by law.

1. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by:

Referred to in these Official Rules as the “Sponsor.”

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry, except where prohibited by law.

The parent or legal guardian is the official entrant and submits the entry on behalf of the participating child.

Employees, contractors, representatives, agents, and members of the immediate household of Sponsor may be excluded from eligibility.

3. Sweepstakes Period

The September 2026 Sweepstakes begins on:

September 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time

and ends on:

September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time

Entries received before or after the Sweepstakes Period are not eligible.

4. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary.

To enter during the Sweepstakes Period:

1. Complete the September Kids in the Kitchen Challenge recipe with a participating child.
2. Take an original photograph of the finished bread.
3. Email the designated September challenge email (meaghan@mindfullymademotherhood.com) from the parent or legal guardian’s email address with the subject line CHALLENGE and include:
   • a photograph of the finished bread;
   • the participating child’s first name; and
   • the participating child’s age.

The photograph submitted for entry must show the finished bread and must not show a child’s face or contain other personally identifying information.

Purchasing The Homemade Family Kitchen, purchasing any other product or service, following Sponsor on social media, posting about the challenge, sharing the challenge, tagging Sponsor, or otherwise engaging with Sponsor on social media is not required to enter and will not improve an entrant’s odds of winning.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, altered, duplicated, late, misdirected, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules.

5. Entry Limit

Limit one eligible entry per participating child during the Sweepstakes Period.

A parent or legal guardian with multiple participating children may submit one entry for each participating child.

Sponsor may disqualify entries that attempt to circumvent the entry limit through multiple identities, email addresses, accounts, or other methods.

6. Prize

One winner will receive:

One $100 Amazon Gift Card

Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $100 USD.

No cash alternative is available.

Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

The prize is non-transferable except at Sponsor’s discretion.

Any federal, state, local, or other taxes and expenses associated with accepting or using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Amazon is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, or responsible for this Sweepstakes.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

8. Winner Selection

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

The drawing is expected to take place on or about October 1–3, 2026.

The Sweepstakes is not judged based on the appearance, quality, creativity, or perceived skill of the finished bread.

9. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted using the parent or legal guardian’s email address used to submit the entry.

The potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility and provide information reasonably necessary for Sponsor to verify eligibility and award the prize.

If the potential winner:

• cannot be contacted;
• does not respond within 48 hours of notification;
• is determined to be ineligible;
• declines the prize; or
• fails to comply with these Official Rules,

the prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

10. Submitted Photographs and Permission to Use

By submitting a photograph as part of an entry, the entrant represents and warrants that they own the photograph or otherwise have all rights and permissions necessary to submit it and authorize its use as described in these Official Rules.

The entrant retains ownership of the submitted photograph.

By entering, the entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, display, crop, resize, format, repost, and share the submitted photograph in connection with:

• The Homemade Family Kitchen;
• the Kids in the Kitchen Challenge;
• Sponsor’s website and blog;
• Sponsor’s email newsletters;
• Instagram;
• Facebook;
• TikTok;
• Pinterest; and
• other Sponsor-owned social media or digital channels.

Sponsor may identify the submission using the participating child’s first name and age as provided with the entry.

Submitted photographs must not show a child’s face or contain personally identifying information such as:

• a child’s last name;
• home address;
• school name;
• precise location;
• phone number; or
• other information that could reasonably identify or locate the child.

No additional compensation will be provided for Sponsor’s permitted use of an entry photograph.

Sponsor is not required to use or publish any submitted photograph.

11. Content Requirements

Entries must be appropriate for a family audience and must not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.

Entries must not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights belonging to another person or entity.

Sponsor may disqualify or decline to publish any entry that does not meet these requirements.

12. Kitchen Safety and Participation

Participation in the Kids in the Kitchen Challenge is voluntary.

Parents and legal guardians are solely responsible for:

• determining which cooking activities are appropriate for their child;
• providing adequate supervision;
• handling or supervising ovens, stovetops, hot pans, sharp tools, appliances, hot liquids, and other kitchen hazards;
• monitoring food allergies and dietary restrictions; and
• ensuring the recipe and ingredients are appropriate for their household.

Sponsor does not guarantee that any recipe or activity is appropriate for every child or household.

13. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• violates these Official Rules;
• interferes with or attempts to manipulate the entry or winner-selection process;
• submits false or fraudulent information;
• behaves in a manner that compromises the integrity or fairness of the Sweepstakes; or
• otherwise acts in bad faith in connection with the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, legal requirements, events beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, or other circumstances impair the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Sweepstakes.

If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the scheduled end date, Sponsor may select a winner from eligible entries received before termination, where appropriate and permitted by law.

14. Technical Issues

Sponsor is not responsible for:

• lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or undeliverable entries;
• emails that are filtered, blocked, delayed, or not received;
• internet, server, network, platform, hardware, or software failures;
• incorrect or inaccurate entry information;
• unauthorized human intervention; or
• other technical or communications problems that interfere with participation or winner notification.

Proof that an email or entry was sent does not necessarily constitute proof that Sponsor received it.

15. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims, losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to:

• participation in the Sweepstakes;
• preparation or submission of an entry;
• participation in cooking or baking activities;
• acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; or
• Sponsor’s permitted use of submitted materials.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

16. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s applicable Privacy Policy.

The adult parent or legal guardian must provide the email address and submit the entry.

Sponsor does not require participating children to provide their own email address, phone number, social media account, or other direct contact information.

Child information collected for the entry is limited to the information described in these Official Rules.

17. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, the winner may be identified using the adult entrant’s first name, state, or other limited winner information reasonably necessary to announce the winner or comply with applicable law.

Any public use of submitted bread photographs will be governed by Section 10 of these Official Rules.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of:

South Carolina

without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any enforceable terms governing Sponsor’s website or services.

19. Winner Information

Where required by law, winner information may be made available after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.

20. Third-Party Disclaimer

This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

• Amazon;
• Instagram;
• Facebook;
• Meta;
• TikTok;
• Pinterest; or
• any other third-party platform or company referenced in connection with the Sweepstakes.

Entrants release those third parties from responsibility for the administration of the Sweepstakes.

Sweepstakes begins September 1, 2026 and ends September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. One winner will be selected at random to receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
